More about a Candida Cleanse:
There are different forms of candida, which naturally live on our skin and throughout our digestive system and vagina. It is only during a candida overgrowth that this yeast organism can cause health problems. Candida can also migrate into the body and penetrate organs like the heart, brain and kidneys.
The more it grows the more difficult it is to eradicate. So if you have any symptoms of candida infection start with your candida cleanse protocol as soon as possible.
The most noticeable candida related symptoms are: brain fog and mood disorders, fatigue, sugar cravings, bloating and IBS type of symptoms. It can also cause nail fungal infections, skin rashes and white coated tongue. The more symptoms you have, the more the organism has grown and spread and the more you have to fight it back.
A low sugar and refined carbohydrates diet will also be very important. During the acute phase, do not use conventional probiotics, but Saccharomyces Boulardii instead. I would not use fermented food either.

Study:
If you would like to read a study on the inhibiting activity of oregano oil and candida growth, please click here. This if from the study: “Candida spp. can form biofilms on mucosal surfaces and epithelial cells as well as on devices implanted in the body such as catheters and dentures, which are thought to underlie the most recalcitrant infections. It showed antifungal and antibiofilm activities of oregano oil (Origanum onites). The antifungal activities of some essential oils were investigated against C. spp. Among them, oregano oil was found to be the most effective oil and further biofilm studies were conducted with it.
Oregano oil inhibited biofilm adhesion and formation of C. spp. and mature biofilms. I also displayed the ability to reduce biofilm formation when they were allowed to form on surfaces previously coated with oil. In addition, oregano oil was found to be effective against dual biofilms of Candida albicans + Staphyloccocus aureus at different concentrations.”
